Opal Creek is located within the Willamette National Forest in central Oregon.
Situated between the western Cascade Range, east of Salem and north of Detroit. Opal Creek is famous for its beautiful scenery, ancient forests, clear streams, and the vibrant Opal Pools. Currently the area is closed due to fires that occurred in 2020.
