Mount St. Helens, an active stratovolcano, is found in Skamania County, Washington, within the Pacific Northwest of the United States. It is situated 52 miles northeast of Portland, Oregon, and 98 miles to the south of Seattle.
After its 1980 eruption, the volcano experienced continuous volcanic activity until 2008.
Images were taken at sunrise, with hike starting around midnight, to reach the summit by around 5:00am
