About this image
Cascade Head is situated 85 miles southwest of Portland, Oregon on the Oregon Coast between Lincoln City and Neskowin.
This unique location on the Oregon Coast stands out as a marvel. It offers breathtaking vistas overlooking Three Rocks, the Salmon River Estuary, and the northern headlands of Lincoln City. Additionally, this grassy headland serves as the habitat for the endangered Oregon silverspot butterfly and hosts a minimum of two rare plant species. On those special foggy days, one may catch a ghostly glimpse of the elk as they lumber through the forested hills.
